What we collect

When you use Discord sign-in, Supabase may receive the Discord account identifier, display name, avatar, and email address if Discord provides one. GankByte stores the minimum profile information needed for sign-in, scores, XP, and moderation, including an optional GankByte display name and avatar reference.

Game and XP data

We may store submitted scores, waves, streaks, run times, contribution proof links, notes, XP awards, moderation decisions, and whether a player has dismissed a private moderation notice. Local best scores may also be stored in your browser and are not automatically sent to us.

Data is used to operate accounts, publish approved or automatically published leaderboards, award XP, prevent abuse, and improve the games.

  • Discord — Used for optional authentication.
  • Supabase — Hosts authentication and project data.
  • GitHub Pages — Hosts the public website.
  • Analytics — No advertising tracker is intentionally installed.

Your choices

Discord sign-in is optional. You can play the games locally without an account. You can request correction or deletion of account-related data by contacting contact@gankbyte.com. Community posts and public leaderboard entries may remain visible where needed for moderation or project records.
